Suggested Kit List International/Guided UK Trips

Please ensure that you have comprehensive medical and travel insurance to cover the holiday before leaving home.  First aid kits and vet kits are carried on all rides. In order to make your ride comfortable we suggest you bring the following:

• suitable riding gear (jodhpurs with full or half chaps)
• suitable footwear (comfortable riding boots with a low heel and rubber soles)
• long sleeved cotton shirts to protect you from the sun
• sun block
• fleeces, or sweaters
• riding gloves
• waterproof jacket
• it is compulsory to wear a riding helmet and riders should bring their own correctly-fitting helmet with them.
• camera, film, binoculars
• safari - Africa trips only - neutral/khaki colours only can be worn – no white or bright clothing will be permitted on rides

Suggested Kit List UK 'Take Your Horse on Holiday' Unguided Trips

Please ensure that you have comprehensive medical and travel insurance to cover the holiday before leaving home.  We suggest you carry a small first aid kit if you are travelling unguided and a small first aid kit for your horse. In order to make your ride comfortable, we suggest you bring the following:

• suitable riding gear
• suitable footwear
• long-sleeved cotton shirts
• sun block
• fleeces/sweaters
• riding gloves
• waterproof jacket
• we strongly advise you wear a correctly-fitting helmet
• camera, film, binoculars
• pen knife
• string and carrier bags
• mobile phone
• tack, head collar, and lead rope
